Salesforce has a new built in Agent to help Admins within Setup. You can ask it to find things, how to do things, and even compare user permissions. I’m hoping it’s not the first step in eliminating the need for Salesforce Admins, but it should sure make Salesforce Administration easier.
Once you get a shiny new Salesforce developer org with Agentforce and Data Cloud, you login into that org and land on the Welcome page. Click the ‘Start Building’ button under ‘Build an Agent’, highlighted in the screenshot below.
Select Agent for Setup (Simplify administrative tasks with Agent for Setup. Customize and manage your org and quickly find documentation with Agent for Setup) and then click the ‘Create’ button in the top right.
Now you have a Setup Agent you can use to test and when you’ve had your fun, click Activate at the top right so you can use it when you’re working in the Admin Setup.
Click the AI icon to open the Agent.
Ask your question and you should get help and links to documentation.
